Take Action

Click here to find out more about recently-passed legislation designed to protect Wisconsin's dogs and consumers.

Dogs and cats can't speak for themselves when they are being mistreated. Neither can other animals. They can't run for governor. They can't hire lawyers to defend them or lobbyists to press their case in Madison.

Without our help, some animals have little hope for humane care and treatment. Many companion animals, farm animals, wildlife, animals in laboratories and animals used for entertainment are at risk. People who care about animals need to speak up and share their opinions with elected leaders and local officials.

Fortunately, there are many things you can do to help animals, including educating others about the variety of resources available in Wisconsin. Whether you are protecting your own animals by planning for emergencies, reporting abuse or contacting your legislators about important animal welfare issues, you are helping make Wisconsin a safer and more humane place for animals.
